Opening Night

Just a quick update about the Festival opening night. It is really important that you all stay on your stands between 18.30 and 21.00. However, at 21.00 when the opening night closes, we have arranged for some catering so that you can all grab something to eat, and you will also all receive 1 wine voucher to use in the Student Refectory. Remember, Dylan's will also be open from 21:00 to midnight, so when you're finished in the refectory, you can go up there.

Just to re-iterate it is crucial that you all stay on your stands between 18.30 and 21.00.

More information about setup will be posted soon - so watch this space over the next few days please. This is just to let you know that Dylan's has agreed to open from 9pm next Thursday, 25th of June, and will be open until midnight.

Setup Information for FODI

Please be aware of the following:

On the 25th June, by 4pm, your stands need to be finished as we have a preview for Lady Digby and also to Innovation Forum (IF) - the IF is a large gathering (upto 100) of representatives from a wide range of industries.

On the 29th June – Stands need to be in place until each PL/final year manager gives the all clear to strike, this will not be before 3.30pm due to visit by External Examiners and also from BU Foundation members.

Please ensure you meet these deadlines.

We have created e-invitations for FODI this year, which you can send onto any family, friends and anyone else you would like to come along to FODI this year.

The E-Invitations have been sent to the reps, so they should be forwarding them to you soon. Look out for them in your inboxes.

And a quick reminder - if you haven't had your photo taken yet for the FODI brochure, don't forget to come along at your allocated time slot.

Shirt Printing and Logo

Please see below for information and advice on printing your course t-shirts/polo shirts.

BU Core Logo: Please use the BU Core Logo on your shirts. There are two options for the reproduction of the logo - vinyl and embroidery, you will need to discuss with the t-shirt company what option you think is best and the cost implications that this may have.

T-Shirts / Polo Shirts: We have provided a colour palette of the BU Colours. It is strongly advised that if you require a coloured shirt that you pick a colour as close to one of the predefined colours as possible. If you need reminding what colour your course is simply look on the website.

Positioning: Logos would need to be set on the right breast of the wearer left-breast for the onlooker and the Size = 65mm. Your course logo set to the left breast if you have one.

FODI Photographer

There will be four photo sessions taking place in order for you to have your photographs taken for the brochure.

The sessions will be held on Monday 11th May from 17:30 until 19:00, Tuesday 12th May from 17:30 until 18:40, Monday 18th May from 17:30 until 18:40 and Tuesday 19th May from 17:30 until 18:40.

The photographs will be taken at Melbury House, on the third floor. Five people can fit into each time slot.
